The National Executive Board of Directors have chosen GlobalGiving’s Japan Earthquake and Tsunami Relief Fund, and committed to raising $10,000.

The north coast of Japan was hit by a horrible tsunami after a 9.0 magnitude earthquake that occurred 80 miles offshore. This fund will support organizations providing relief and aid to victims. Tsunami waves caused major destruction in northern Japan.

Join Sigma Psi Zeta’s efforts and support GlobalGiving. GlobalGiving supports various organizations, including International Medical Corps, Save the Children, and other organizations on the ground to provide support.

March 7th is International Badge Day. International Badge Day was established in 1997 by the National Panhellenic Conference to set aside a day for women throughout the world to wear their sorority badges or Greek letters in a celebration of sisterhood.

The National Panhellenic Conference has invited NAPA to participate in their annual celebration of International Badge Day.

This year’s theme is once again: “Keep Your Fraternal Experience Close to Your Heart.”
