Risk Management Policy Update

Sigma Psi Zeta Sorority, Inc. does not condone behavior that contradicts our Risk Management Policy, including but not limited to sexual violence, hazing, bullying and discrimination, and any action that violates campus, state, or federal law. Per our Risk Management Policy, the organization expects all members to report and take action if they have any knowledge of misconduct by contacting the university, local authorities, and the National Sorority leadership.

We stand with survivors who are bravely coming forward with their stories of sexual violence and hazing. Sigma Psi Zeta is fully committed to building and maintaining a safe space for all members and non-members. As part of our commitment, Sigma Psi Zeta will provide annual training for our members on preventing and reporting misconduct. We further commit to provide training on the protocols that should be followed if someone comes forward with an allegation of misconduct. We support and will empower any survivor to understand their reporting options; any retaliation or harassment of any whistleblower will not be tolerated. The organization takes any and all allegations of misconduct very seriously and will treat each case with the utmost gravity and care it deserves.

If you or someone you know has knowledge of any member misconduct, please contact [email protected]. If you believe a member of Sigma Psi Zeta has violated any criminal law, we encourage you to make a report to the appropriate law enforcement agency. Similarly, if you believe a collegiate member of Sigma Psi Zeta has violated a university’s student code of conduct, we encourage you to make a report to the university. Sigma Psi Zeta will cooperate with any external investigation.
