The National Organization oversees and funds:

Three Staple Programs:

Regional Rally

This event brings together our memberships within an assigned area to network, build lifelong friendships and create experiences. Hosted on a rotating basis by different chapters/charters at their University, we aid our hosting memberships in providing funding and guidance when needed to create events on a regional level.

Leadership Summit

We get together our membership's executive leadership, often Presidents and Vice Presidents, to equip them with tools and strategies to help guide them lead from the front. In addition, we hope to create an experience that will allow our leaders to reach out and support each other beyond the conference.

National Convention

We close out our academic schedule with a National Convention. This convention invites all of our SYZters, whether they are active, inactive, or alumni to come and meet each other over a period of two days as we the National Board provide updates, workshops, and individualized leadership training. We take this time to reflect on year, highlight memberships, and award over $2,000 of prizes to our membership in their academic and/or philanthropic efforts.

In addition, on a yearly basis, we assess the needs and wants of our active undergraduate membership and offer national SYZterhood events and learning opportunities that our members may use to improve upon their journey of SYZterhood.

  • In 2021-2022, we created a Mental Health Workshop Series that addresses such topics as burnout, socioeconomic factors, and imposter syndrome to provide a safe space of understanding and support amongst our members across world.
  • We host a monthly SYZterhood event beginning every 23rd of the month.
  • We rolled out a Membership Buddies Pilot Program that pairs Chapter/Charters outside of their assigned region over the course of a year. We hope to further create connections amongst our memberships, particularly in this challenging age of COVID-19.

Our National Organization has also created a Philanthropy Committee that campaigns National initiatives for our memberships to share and build upon within their local campus. This can include partnerships with NAPA organizations or 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations that benefit a particular effort. Our National Content Creation team aids our executive teams in developing media for our local chapters and charters to use when desired. Finally, we have developed a Marketplace to bring together membership fundraisers, entrepreneurial SYZters, and the National Store as a one-stop-shop to promote and purchase Sigma Psi Zeta member-created products.
